Installed Unichip and Alta IC today

Just finished the project and test drove in both maps. Nice change with the A map but very noticable change in B map. No real problems with the install on the Unichip, but the IC instructions were incomplete and inadequate to say the least. The photos were so small that you could just vaguely make out this was a MINI let alone what was supposed to be done. The most important and difficult step is getting the rubber boots back on the inlets of the SC and snouts of the IC, while keeping the clamp halves in place. Alta instructions have the process backwards with no pictures of this step, and Randy Webb helped out over the phone, thank you Randy. Alta, for a small fee, I'll put a installation manual together with large pics. I'm looking forward to having a Dyno done in the future. Next step-lighter wheels and tires.

04 MCS, sport pkg, 15% pulley, Alta CAI, Alta Big Air IC, Milltec exhaust, Unichip, Densos.

were the boots those silicone ones with the alta logo on them? I just installed just the alta air diverter and it came with the blue silicone boots that are almost impossible to put on. I might take them off in the future and put the stock ones back on.

Mine did not come with alta boots. The stock ones work fine. The Alta instructions were a little sketchy. Randy Webb helped out over the phone and all went well.
