Z6 "squirtgun" spray bottle could be better
I have some NXT Quick Detailer that comes out of the spray bottle as this wonderful mist. I'm bad I know but I even like the feel of that NXT detailer's "trigger" for the sprayer.
Here's my complaint: I'm a little bit frustrated (planning to find a better mister) with my Z6 spray, which goes on "squirtgun style"
, and runs around everywhere, since it's not a nice clingy aerosol-like mist.
Is it just me, or has anyone else swapped sprayers for their Z6? It's expensive enough that I hate to see it just run off the car onto the floor of the garage.
Trivial question I suppose, but still...

I've switched bottles, but not because of the misting issue (Though now you metion it, I remember that I had to turn the "dial" almost to the closed position to get a good mist out of the OE bottle).
I switched bottles because I started to experiment with a water/Z6 mixture. The Zaino website says that many people mix a 50 / 50 ratio to make it more manageable. I went with a 1/3 water 2/3 Z6 ratio. It makes it a little easier to wipe off with and still keeps the use of the Z6 at what I use it for (really just detailing the car, not really using it for it's full shine qualities).
It you do this, make sure to use filtered (Zaino recomends distilled) water in your mixture.

Thanks for responding!
I hear you on the filtered water for diluting Z6 QD/Gloss Enhancer.
I also have tried that "barely open" setting for the dial/nozzle but was less than tickled with the result. I'm gonna email Zaino and make a polite suggestion about the nozzle:smile:.
I wanted to see if any gurus were in my camp, still am curious,

I've had several bottles of Z6 and never had the misting problem. Maybe they got a bad batch as I haven't bought any for at least 6 months or so (I placed a big order when I had some extra cash).
For my general interior and door jam cleaning needs, I use 303 Aerospace cleaner, diluted somewhere around 1 to 3 with water. I mix it in a Rubbermaid Industrial spray bottle that I got at Target (Imagine that spray bottle of glass cleaner that every elementary school janitor has). That thing is infinateably adjustable and has a nice long trigger.

I've had several z6 bottles with the mister issue. The one I'm using right now is the worst yet. If I find the sweet spot, there are times when the trigger becomes stuck. Can't complain, though, because I love the way the stuff works. It would be a much better product if the sprayer matched the product quality.

Please note: Using the product in its original concentration will provide the best results. However, some people may find it difficult to evenly spray Z-6™ in its extremely high concentration. To make Z-6™ Ultra Clean more user-friendly, you may dilute the product with distilled water up to a ratio of 1 to 1 to help you get better results. Test by diluting with small proportions until you find what works best for you. Again, for optimal results, it is best not to dilute Z-6™ Ultra Clean.

Not ignoring this instructive thread - thanks you guys .
And to the poster who gets similar splattery/not-mist spray from the Zaino nozzle, I feel yer pain, bro.
Fixing an annoying drip under my kitchen sink tonight after work, so I reckon I can hit Walm.. oops I mean Target when I make my run for plumbing supplies (blecchh! the joys of home ownership!).
When it's bone-dry under there, and I have successfully (yet again) procrastinated replacing my dishwasher (gasp! noooo!) I will be taking a nice long air-conditioned ride in the MCS.
Don't cell and drive,

I use a small mister to apply the Z6 and it works pretty well, how is the shine when it is diluted?

That being said, I am looking forward to trying out Z8 in the future.
