CR/W MC with black bonnet stripe....pictures please......
Cat scratched the white bonnet stripes on my 03 CR/W MC and I'm going to replace them. I'm wondering if I'd prefer black stripes this time. Also, any recommendations on where to get the stripes. Got the white ones from Cooper Flags and they were fine, but I think i might can get them cheaper somewhere else.
Thanks.
Thanks.
cooperflags.com is great and so is mightystripe.com. I've purchased items from both places, great product and service!
How about a pic of a CRB with black stripes? Closest I can get... maybe Photoshop the pix with a white roof!

I though I might try something a little different with the black stripes and white roof. The white pinstripes on the edge of the black stripes should help tie them in with the white roof.I can't hurt the cat but his getting on my cars is a bummer. Tried talking to him but he doesn't listen. My wife says he's just like me in that regard.
It's time to get a car cover... or a cat de-clawing!
Actually, I wouldn't recommend the latter, as cats need their claws to defend themselves in public!
I feel your pain... it's a b@#ch keeping dog hairs out of my MINI.
Actually, my stripe pin stripes are silver to match my wheels. But, you can get white ones as well.

The idea of running the black stripes over the top would be good if I didn't have a sunroof.
Thanks..
Well the fact that you have a sunroof, I think , makes the tie in of black bonnet stripes right

OK, try this to discourage the cat. It won't hurt it but hopefully it will stop jumping on the car.
Lay a HEAVY blanket across the bonnet to protect the paint. Now put the cover on. Set a variety of mousetraps and put them all over the bonnet on top of the cover, and then cover the mousetraps with newspapers.
Cat jumps on the MINI, mousetrap snaps closed under the paper - makes noise but doesn't catch any paws. A few times with that happening is usually sufficient to stop the cat from getting on the car.
Repeat on the roof if needed...
