Autometer/ProMini Boost gauge accuracy

How accurate is this gauge? I have one and I'm wondering about its accuracy

An Autometer representative once told me their mechanical boost gauges should be within +/- 0.5 PSI. That said, where the tap is for the reading within the MINI's manifold makes a big difference, due to the crappy manifold design. You'll see a much bigger boost reading at the #1 cylinder than the downstream MAP sensor location (which is near the #4 cylinder).

which one should you use?

btw do you want to come to Atl to tune my car after the intake manifold and SC mod are installed?

I have added the Alta IC and CAI since the last tune

I don't think there's a gauge you should use, just whatever you like. I use an Ultra-lite 2 1/16" mechanical, as it matches the stock gauges fairly well.

also, PM sent

How much variation have you seen across the manifold?

The reason I ask is that before adding the IC and the CAI I was getting 16 now I'm getting 15 and I am curious
