hi all - another newbie here
So new in fact, that I don't have my MCS yet. Still shopping right now 
Question for all of you since there is so much to read here and I just got started but haven't seen it yet: can one join the CMMC and use the membership discount on accessories for the yet-to-be ordered MINI?

Yes, you can be part of the club without a MINI.. several members don't own MINIs.
Your membership card will get you a parts discount at the 3 local dealerships, as well as a few mail order places. There is also a discount for Phill Wicks driving schools.
