Drivetrain Question of mods??
Question of mods?? Need a new Cylinder head??
I might do some mods which would lead to me having over 200 horses but with the stock head. I noticed the JCW swaps out the head. Should I be concerned with the long term effects? Do you think its definately worth a change?
Who here has mods and lots of miles with no issues?

Patience dude. Sunday night is not exactly peak usage time for this board.
I think that it's generally accepted that the stock head on an MCS should have no issues with 200 to 220hp.

requirements for 200hp (my opinions on product in paranthesis):
Cold Air Intake (Alta with silicone tube)
Pulley (Alta, your choice on size, 19% if you want the three extra power but you don't wanna run to redline)
Exhaust (Milltek, Borla Race, Magnaflow, make sure to check out the exhaust reference thread, not too big a difference in numbers but BIG difference in sound between these three)
ECU (Unichip)
that should do it, if not you can do the head and a Cam. and don't forget about suspension and the rest of the car along the way.
again these products are just my opinion, please no flames about manufacturer's

I did my own research for a while and found out that its definately not required and will have no affects.
