Just ordered an MCSa

Yesterday I made the 100+ mile trek to the closest Mini Dealer and ordered an '05 MCSa (my wife never mastered a stick and with an 18 mos old we can't afford an emergency and a car she can't drive). This car will replace the BRG '02 MC I bought in May of 2002 which I have thoroughly enjoyed (and is now up for sale with 28,800 miles). I ordered the new Mini in Pepper White with a Black roof and Anthracite interior. When I returned home and used the MiniUSA configurator I started to wonder what the interior headliner color would be - I saw an option that indicated that a matching headliner was extra??? For those that ordered an anthracite interior - what are the pillar and headliner colors??????

Thanks!!!

Currently, unless you order the optional, extra cost anthracite headliner, the standard equip is light grey for headliner/pillars.

...it should look fine either way - but if you're concerned about it (I personally prefer the anthracite/anthracite) and don't mind paying the extra $200, I would try calling the dealer early tomorrow. There may still be time to modify the order.

Thanks for the heads up

When I saw I the option on the website I thought I might be getting the standard light grey pillars and headliner - not what I personally want

I guess a call to the dealer is in order first thing in the morning.....

I got an MCSa in PW/B with standard headliner that looks pretty good with the gray/black vinyl seats (and silver interior parts because I wanted to make sure the uprights from the console match the dash). I also got the sunroof (it needs a decal for more shade) so there isn't much headliner anyway. Today a motorcycle cop pulled up beside me and asked how much the car cost and if it was a 5 speed. When I told him the price and that it's an automatic he seemed pleased and told me he liked it a lot. It's that kinda car.
