Prefered pre-painted in Chili Red but I can have them painted myself.
Please PM me if you have some (must be in perfect shape) for sale. I need them ASAP. $$$ waiting.

Thanks! They're on their way to use as a temporary measure until the M7 versions are available - from what I hear they are going to be very cool!

Is there any hope for a reasonably priced scoop?

$119 plus shipping is ridiculous for these simple PLASTIC peices. $119 for carbon fiber I understand. Wouldnt by them, but could understand the price

Yeah, they’re a little spendy - $170 with tax & shipping plus I was quoted $120 to get them painted but they look awesome!

Here is a photo I took at Steve’s install party. Not sure who’s car this was, though.

If you are buying something online, it isn't illegal for them to charge tax. Some places just don't do it. If you purchase a laptop from Sony.com, they'll charge you tax even though you placed your order online, so why should it be any different if you order a car part? If you're ordering a "service" i.e.- erotic massage online, then they can't charge you tax....

Yay for being a paralegal.... i think.

From: As far away from Florida as I can get.
Simplistic explanantion: Taxes are charged if the shipping address is in the same state as the company being purchased from.

In the previous example of Sony, since they maintain a presence (wharehouse, store, etc) in just about all the states, there is no way around paying the sales tax.

OK, you answered the question; if the company has a brick & mortar in the customer’s state, (s)he pays sales tax.

I believe that we might have spoken briefly. It seems as though most of the people there already knew each other so I was kind of the odd man out.

This is my MINI:

i have a pair of unpainted Orciari scoops installed on my car that i would be willing to sell pretty cheap like $80 plus shipping or i'll pay the shipping if someone has the original hood vents (newer version without mesh) they can send me in return. send me a PM if interested.
