Missed the signup for everything... :(

I know, I know... Work has been crazy and I have been at work pretty much 7 days a week for the past 1.5 months. I can still sign up for the basic registration, but it doesn't look like I can do much. The last thing I want to do is just sit around and do nothing.

Is anyone else in this situation? If not, I'm thinking of cancelling our reservation...

There's still stuff you can do...

First, get your basic registration...

Then you can sign up for the Chillhowie Mountain Double Cross on Friday, order your panoramic photo RIGHT NOW, you still have a few more hours left on that. Same with the Chili Cookoff. Quit stalling man!!! Sign up for the Cherohalla Skyway Drive Saturday. Heck you can still get in on the midnight run too!

You can even go horseback riding...

Check with Atlanta MINIs. They're holding the farewell dinner on Sat. and their sign-up is separate from NAM. Whoops, I just checked, theirs is closed.

See this thread from Smoky Mountain Mini Club

Walk-ins Welcome
Just a reminder!!

The Chili Cook Off meal has no cutoff. As it is a pot luck event and we are all sharing, there is no cut off date for joining in the food and fun. You can walk up on Friday night with $5 and your pot luck item and join right in!!

Lotsa fun, door prizes and the winners of the day's touring rally will be announced.

But you can still show up at all the functions/dinners. Just grab some food before.
It's a great time and you'll meet lots of people. Don't bail!

I think Minzilla posted in the Cherohalla Drive thread that if you didn't pre-order you would have to try and buy your food there.

Yes you can order on the spot but if from the menu, it will take a while, and you may miss our departure, I will have them put so many extra sandwich lunches together, so that you can get the lunch, However, you must see me at the Drivers meeting prior to the drive and let me know how many sandwiches you want. I will be there first and have them made up

I figured I could make a really big roast beef sandwich for $14...wanna split it?
Keep in mind that the $14 supports the use of the pavillion, and includes gratuity. Like all other planned meals it takes effort and processing costs to collect and disburse fees from Credit card and Paypal, and pay for facilities.

I hope that you all enjoy the lunch, and trust that you will feel it to be well worth it

Look at the events calender, You will find many not doing the organized events but hanging out watching the mods /exhaust shootout, bonester races, car detailing, MINI's zipping around every where you look, tire kicking and bench racing, all in one of the most beautiful scenic settings you can imagine, there's biking and hiking trails, self drives, Oh yeah there's this neat road they call the Dragon, heck just cause you missed the Cades Cove drive, you can still do it what ever day you want to, Me ,,,I am going to have morning ritual on the porch of my cabin with a pot of coffee and listen to the birds wake everyone up, then grab my camera and look for neat places to park the MINI and take some shots, and Hey If it looks like rain, you can always join me in the backyard, at midnite, nekked and you can learn the sun dance

Ok - I'm signed up for the SkyWay drive on Saturday and purchased a laminated pic as well...

As for seeing you in the backyard at midnight... I dunno...

I also missed the lunch deadline, but I'll try to pick something up as well.

Since there will be alot of people staying back, I'll find something to do - if anyone is interested, I can help MCS owners with a hood scoop grille mod. Just let me know...

Oh, one more thing MiniZilla...

You need to change the tag on your pic from:

"Yeah, it's got a hemi"

- to -

"Yeah, doesn't NEED a hemi"...

Final question -

Does anyone know if you can buy the T-Shirts at the events?

You'll probably be able to get most if not all of the t-shirts while you're there. As there will be some extra's available for purchase... Of course they will be sold first come first serve...
