JCW Intake/Injectors and the MCSa

Okay, I was thinking of getting a JCW Intake and I know there's the kit available with the injectors included. Is this a plug-n-play item or do you need the JCW software for the injectors to function properly? Not sure if the stock ECU can compensate with the change but thought *someone* must have tried it on the board.

I know the full JCW kit for the MCSa isn't out yet but I was hoping to do a few mods for a dyno.

Followups appreciated!

The JCW upgrade software is still needed to properly utilize the new injectors. Without it, the car will run rich on WOT and on trottle tip-in, and your OBC fuel mileage readings will be incorrect.

I am not sure how the JCW intake will fit in the MCSa, I might be wrong, but I heard mumblings that the transmission mount is different and 'interferes' with the airbox mounting.

Little known fact though, the lower part of the airbox is the same between the stock and JCW pieces. The difference is in the top piece and the cowl partition. IF the upper portion of the MCSa airbox is the same as others, then there is a good chance the upper portion of the JCW would fit it.

Thanks for the info! So when places like M7 offer Injectors, or larger TBs, are they providing ECU changes? It doesn't mention on their website.
