Drivetrain No Cat and no SES

No Cat and no SES
Ok so tell me what is going on here. I have heard all this talk about obdII cars after 97 will throw a ses light or a check engine light if you remove the cat. Ok my car is not doing any of the above with the megan header. I have both O2 sensors correctly installed and it runs perfect. Have driven about 40 miles like this and still no light. Is this to good to be true?

It came on! Took 72 miles to do the trick. Oh well just ordered the MINI Madness O2 signal sender thing.
