flkmkr releases first MINI video!
I received a PM today from Jason Francois (aka flkmkr and December 2003 NAM calendar photo winner) telling me that his company Big Brain Pictures have just release their first MINI-related video. I took a look and thought it would be great to have everyone take a look at it!
Here is some background on the video from my PM with Jason:
I'm now part of a company called Big Brain Pictures (www.bigbrainpictures.com), which is in old-town, Mesa, Arizona. The shoot actually took place about two blocks from our offices.
I started the company with Joseph Drake and Dominic Ross also from the Phoenix area. We have come together to produce feature films after each having done our own in the past. Armed with a bunch of new equipment we are now working on building a reel for our company and learning to use digital video cameras and all the gadgets that go along with them, in an attempt to make the most polished and filmic looking projects we can, but still keeping our indie filmmaking ideals.
The shoot was for one day on Feb. 1st and it took us about 5-6 hours of shooting to get it done. We had a very small crew, but ended up meeting a lot of great people that came out to support us. (it's a small film community here so people get pretty excited to see what's going on). We ended up getting most of the footage that we wanted, but believe it or not it rains from time to time in Arizona so clouds pushed in and darkened our set, but fortunately we still ended up with a lot of great footage.

Yep, I've made a number of comments on this in that other thread. It's an amazing piece done on a shoe string budget. Just goes to show what amazing stuff a few talented people with a lot of hard work can do!!!
The link on the picture is a dead link, but the other one works, very nice. I would very much like a higher bitrate version, this one doesn't do justice to all that hard and nice work I think.
