Does anyone with an 04 have the Ice Link connected thru the back of the radio? Mine wont fit, and I'm wondering if I should have them replace it with a trunk kit...does that not have to hook up into the back of the headunit?

 

There were some people on MINI2 who said they had to trim the connector. I believe one of them even said that they were directed to by Dension

 

Yeah, I tried trimming the connector on the first one they sent me...and it didnt work. They sent me a replacement, and I didnt want to hack that one up as well. Hopefully a trunk mounted kit will fit well, as supposedly that one doesnt involve the headunit at all.
