Car turns off immediately on startup.
I've been struggling to figure this issue out for months now. Hundreds of hours and multiple mechanics involved. Any direction you could point me in would be very much appreciated.
I purchased this countryman in June, it needed a lot of work but nothing I hadn't done. Drove it for a week after purchasing and decided to do the timing chain because it had a low oil pressure light and I figured the guides were falling apart(which was correct). After doing the timing chain, the vehicle wouldn't even try to turn on and after scanning it, it had a bunch of voltage issue codes for the DME(I'm assuming this was from water damage as you'll read later). I purchased a new DME and had mine cloned to it by Mario Palza and reinstalled it. This is where my current issue starts. Ever since then, the vehicle will turn over and rev up to 1000rpm and immediately cut off(Video attached). The vehicle has no codes what so ever. Since this happened, I noticed water in the floor of the driver and passenger footwells, pull up the carpet and there's 2 inches of standing water.. clogged sun roof drains. I assumed my footwell module was the culprit, got a new one and had it coded, still same issue no changes. Did the same for the JBE, same issues no changes. I've replaced HPFP, battery, crank pos sensor(this was the one code it had in this whole ordeal, had to drop the transfer case to get to it, and of course no change). Any thoughts shared are appreciated more than you know. This is driving me crazy
