Electrical Gremlins GALORE!

Not sure what all is going on with my Clubbie but she is seriously pissed off at me. Last week I did a rear brake job and an oil change and when I went in to clear the brake codes I found all sorts of other codes that are not ideal. The 192 is the one that is giving me the most heartburn as I’m thinking that the others are the damn FRM but I’d love to hear some others’ previous experiences here. One thing I am curious about is if something I did with the coolant expansion tank during the oil change is causing the temp code, she’s not running hot or leaking coolant, the level hasn’t changed. Also an odd one with no code is my audio system. Factory, non-GPS that only works in CD mode. No radio, SAT or AUX but CD works just fine.
  • E192 - Error_Temp_Shutdown
  • 9CB6 - LWR coils demolition
  • 9CB7 - LWR driver error
  • 5E56 - Brake pedal error hardware implausible
  • 5DF3 - Interface DMW DDE invalid

Any input here will be appreciated. Even snarky comments, those are almost as much fun as actionable feedback. GO!

If you clear the codes, do any of them return?
I believe that E192 is a radio fault code.

Do all of these codes list as 'present'?

Many times you'll see random error codes that show up but are just intermittent nonsense.

Yes, all of these come back. Good to hear that this is not an actual coolant system issue, haven’t found too many posts about this one.

All of these codes return and I should have reviewed my post before I submitted as I left some key info out.

- Rear brake lights stay on
- Comfort access not fully functional.
-Cannot lock/unlock with door button, must use remote.
- Must insert key into port to start.

Don’t drink and post kids.
Cheers!

For the brake lights issue, check and test the brake light switch.
