Sunroof Shade Installation

I removed the sunroof and the old shade easy enough, but I can't seem to install the new shade without damaging it. Is there something I''m missing? Is it because I'm using cheap Chinese stuff off Amazon?

Th problem was me, of course. I thought I had to pull out the shade a little and start it in the track. There is no way to do that without damaging it. If you just snap it in place, all is good.
