Car losing power, stuttering, jerking at lower rpm.
Hello. I have a problem with my Mini Cooper r56 n12b16a, NA 120HP one. 151k km mileage. The car, when on cold has idle dropping sometimes. Also, when driving, up to 2-2.5k rpm, it can either totally lose power or jerk(the power comes back for a second then drops so the car jerks), doesnt matter if its WOT or small throttle. Reducing the gear to 3k+ rpm causes it to have power again. Usually happens on cold engine, less on hot but sometimes happens. Check engine light is on - it shows lambda sensor, running rich, MAF, and generally sensors like crankshaft sensor. I will clean vanos solenoids soon to check if its that, and check for air leaks. The car uses oil, but idk its so much, but worth mentioning i guess? Timing chain was replaced january, iirc with vanos solenoids too. Took it to mechanic, said he couldnt find what it is other than replacing spark plugs(which were black). I tried checking myself for long term and short term fuel trims. I will show photos from two drives.
looks to work semi fine? in terms of graph, but big minus. after a while on cold start Cold start- works good. huge -25% on the peak up there it lost power 0% all the time, and lost power at this HUGE -90%
As for long term fuel trim, its around -0.8%.
On cold engine the exhaust and engine bay smells of fuel too.
