Mini Cooper s R56 stalling when cold

Hello,

First thanks for your time.

2007 Mini S R56 67000 miles

I start the car right up just fine... idles great for around 1 minute then starts to choke down and sometimes it will stall some times it will just sound like it will stall out but does not.

If it stalls I start it up and it is at the rough idle. I let it set for a while 15 min or so then start it up it idles fine again for about 1 minute then starts to stall out.

Driving it it drives with no problems seems to have full power runs smooth. I go to stop and it wants to stall or it does stall. Start it right back up and take off runs great while driving.

After about 10 min of driving I stop and it idles fine can't even hear it running... I almost think it has stalled because it runs so smooth and quite, and I'm used to it running rough.

I only run premium gas

note: I did changed the spark plugs and o2 sensor

I get a misfire code but NEVER has been blinking. Does not seem that bad of a misfire no power loss or blinking check engine light. I had a car that misfire and the check engine light was blinking loss of power runs really slow no power, I kinda know what that feels like.

regards

james

Sounds like one of the fuel pumps (High or low pressure). Always seems noticeable at low RPMs. Usually HPFP if stalling first thing in the a.m.
