Upper Motor Mount

Just replaced the upper motor mount today, it was long overdue. Its quite tight to get in there but I found if you just remove all clips and bolts holding the hard lines down right over the mount and muscle them towards the motor you can get just enough space to pull it out under the gap behind the headlight. As for the headlight I just bent the tab holding the nut for the adjusters back and got my needle nose vicegrips in there to hold the nut so I could back out the T30s without needing to replace the adjusters. That small 8m bolt holding the plastic to shield to the mount can be gotten with a 8m ratcheting box wrench.

F60/56/55/54 Top Motor mount after October 2020 fail?

Nice job, glad you found a short cut. The motor mount was revised in October 2020. Trying to see if the new version is any better. So...

Anyone have a motor mount from October 2020 forward that failed?

Thanks!
