R56s retrofit JCW aero Kit (Rear Fog light connector issue)

Hello, I'm currently working on installing an aero kit on my 2012 R56S, and I've hit a snag with the rear fog lights.

The Cooper S has rear fog lights that serve a dual purpose, functioning as both reverse lights and brake lights. The wiring is routed to a board with two bulbs that handle these functions. I've noticed that there are three wires going into the connector for this board, which I believe are crucial.

As many of you know, the JCW gives you a choice between a brake light or a reverse light. From what I've seen, the right side functions as a reverse light, and the left side as a brake light.

However, when comparing the photos, the wiring doesn't seem to match up, and I can't figure out how to make this work. Aaron from Out Motoring suggested that my only option might be to rewire and attach the JCW connector, wiring the ground and reverse light for each side.

I've included some photos below. If anyone has experience with this, I'd really appreciate any advice.

Large fog light is cooper S and small one is JCW.

3 pin male connector on cooper s

Cooper S Fog Light housing on bumper

Cooper S female connector

Cooper S wire connection, ground, reverse, and break. I still need to find a trusted buddy to put in revers and not run me over so I can determine which is which?

JCW fog light

JCW 2 pin male connector I’m assuming ground and brake or revers

I can convert my cooperscooper s female socket to this two piece female connector to work with the JCW fog light.

The bumper I’m adding.

I am in the process of adding Aero to my R58 Coupe. In my research, I found this link.

It pretty much explains it.
