JCW GarageInterested in John Cooper Works (JCW) parts for your 2nd Generation MINI? This is where JCW upgrades and accessories for the MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S (R56), and Cabrio (R57) MINIs are discussed.
I did. You will need the connector and leads from the dealer or someone like ECS Tuning. Then cut the wires, solder or crimp on the new leads, code out the bulb check error and you are good to go.
Blue wire is the reverse light.
Black w/ blue stripe is the fog light.
Brown is common.
The part numbers are:
The connector housing 61138373332 - you will need 2
Since you no longer have a reverse light on one side you will get a bulb check error, so that can be coded out using NCS Expert. You will also need to code in the rear fog light and add the switch if you don't have rear fog option already.
Can anyone confirm this will still work? Do the connector end of the leads go into the new socket housing? I am about to switch from stock LCI bumper to JCW bumper on my 2013 Cooper S. My car does not have the rear fog option so i just need the reverse lights. @ECSTuning
I currently have a reverse light on both sides like the below cooper. I would like to snip the 3 pole connector off of both sides and rewire both sides to a 2 pole connector that will connect right up to the reverse light on both sides. I would leave the rear fog light cable unused as i do not have a rear fog option on my car.
I have the following parts noted down as needed for the alteration: 2x 61138373332
4x 61130070582
