R50/53 Potential Fueling Issue?
Potential Fueling Issue?
So it’s been a couple of days since I’ve changed the fuel pump and filter on my 2003 R53!
The huge stutter is gone from a standstill and when rolling down the motorways, thank god!
But I’m still getting a little choking up between 2500-3000 RPMs, which baffles me - as I’ve done the plugs (one step colder), ignition leads, coil pack, and TMap sensor.
Once I drop down in the low 2000s in RPMs it’s getting a little hesitation until 3000 RPM then it’s fine, NOT a yo-yo effect like with a BPV.
I did read someone had a similar issue and the fuel pressure regulator attached to the filter housing was bad, anyone else ever experienced that?
Also, is the line that runs from the FPR under the hood and the intercooler supposed to be hard like plastic or a true rubber line?
Cheers and TIA!
