Fault code 4E21 and Limp mode stock 3rd gear

hello I've been looking for a fix for my R60's transmission problem and so the short version is that i replaced the valve body and now is tuck in limp mode withe the code 4E21 (Electronic pressure control valve SLT) a local mechanic said that it can be solenoid but I've had the same code withe 3 valve bodies so far and cant seem to get out of limp mode and I'm here to see if anybody as had the same problem and knows the fix for it allegedly may be the transmission control unit but I'm not sure and can't buy another TCU at this moment. beside that the engine runs well

Are the valve bodies you're swapping in and out from a reputable source? I'm just surprised you'd jump to the whole valve body instead of just the solenoid. Unless the solenoids are integral and can't be swapped individually. I don't know. Could there be spools in the installed valve body that were removed from a car in 5th gear? Maybe there is a way to move them? Maybe put the original valve body back in with known good solenoids? Most solenoids I know of can be tested by applying the correct voltage to its pins.

thanks for the response and yes the solenoids can be swamped individually nut i did that ones to no avail this is a used valve body i got from Allmag.com said it was an OEM used valve body and for the price it was not bad currently when i scan it it give me another solenoid code (4E35 Electronic pressure control valve SLC1) apparently its another solenoid so what I'll do is swap all the solenoids for one that i know are good and later down the line get brand new one.

minis are pain
