I've read about this fault and think I understand how the "squid" wire with the yellow end at the positive battery terminal is supposed to work.
If I remove the black plastic cover of the red positive terminal can I remove the squid wire from the positive terminal to inspect it?
Does it have a two-conductor connection? If I rotate the yellow connector as seen in the accompanying video, does that offer any insight?
I have read where I could install a 5-watt 3.3-ohm resistor across the ends of the squid wire in place of whatever the wire is supposed to be connected to in the red positive connector.
Thanks for any insight.
