AMVIV-2 Kick-Off Dinner!

AMVIV 2005 Kick Off Dinner (Fundraiser) Sign Up Now!!

c3 is the official club hosting the AMVIV Kick-Off Dinner on Friday, March 4th. This is a Fundraiser for CAN (CureAutismNow.org).

We went through a lot of hoops including putting up our own cash to make this a fantastic dinner, with goodie bags filled with really cool MINI stuff, and lots of raffle items including:
  • Outmotoring.com ARC armrest
  • Custom Whalen Shift Machine
  • Products from Nike Vision
  • Products from high-end Oliver Peoples
  • Meguiar's
  • VacuCam
  • Southbay MINI!
You can read about the event and prepay. It's only $35 now, and that gets you a goodie bag, buffet dinner, live music, a private area big enough for 400 people, private parking, and a chance to win some of the coolest raffle items, but we need your help! There are only 32 days left until AMVIV!

Preregistration ends on Sunday, February 27.

Signing up is a 2-step process:
  • First RSVP
  • Then you can pay via PayPal--just add the number of people you are registering. If you want to pay by check, just do the first RSVP part, and send us your check

Info sheet at:

My parents just returned from a trip to Vegas and said that the Hofbrau Haus atmosphere was great and the food, delicious! Last year's AMVIV was so much fun! Come join us for this year's Kick-Off Dinner event, help us raise awareness about autism, and let's motor for a worthy cause!

On March 4th at 6:30pm in Las Vegas, c3 is hosting the AMVIV II Kickoff dinner. What's AMVIV you ask?? A MINI Vacation In Vegas (http://www.amviv.com) started last year as central gathering of MINI Coopers in Las Vegas. Over 340 MINI's attended last year with 200 participating in the Kick Off Dinner! This years dinner will be located here:
http://www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com

A ton of preparation is going into this to make this a fantastic evening. All proceeds from this event are going to CAN (http://CureAutismNow.org). So not only are we making this a memorable evening for you and your family, but you'll be helping out a great cause!

We've got goodie bags for EVERYONE that pre-registers and it'll be filled will cool stuff MINI owners love, not those freebie brochures that are left behind! You'll enjoy live music, MINI Driving Footage, special MINI games, a great buffet all in the same room as your fellow MINI owners, not seated haphazardly like last year! Oh and we've got incredible raffle items.

Seating for 400!!

Raffle Item 1: ARC Armrest from Outmotoring.com

http://outmotoring.com/out_motoring_mini_armrest.html

Raffle Item 2: How about a personalized Whalen Shift ****?

http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/home.htm

Raffle Item 3: Or maybe a VacuCam Deluxe 1B with video switcher

http://www.VacuCam.com

and so much more...

In fact, even CarTV, Autobytel’s online car news video channel is sending a crew to cover our dinner. http://www.autobytel.com/content/res...l/CarTV_Videos
How much better can it get?

Look at the companies that are supporting us:
MINIUSA
Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas
South Bay MINI
Long Beach MINI
Nick Alexander MINI
Meguiar's
Whalen Shift Machine
Outmotoring.com
Oliver Peoples
Nike Vision
Octane
VacuCam
M7 Tuning
More Coming...

Keep track of information that could be VERY VALUABLE to you at AMVIV II on this thread and on c3's forum

Thanks Richard!
BTW, your button link for RSVPing is very difficult to see/find on that page. Maybe you could have the text "RSVP now!" hyperlinked as well.

Unfortunately there were no immediate RSVP's in the days following, not until Agro did the mass email and we got 17 RSVP's from that. Hard to tell of course, but making something friendlier and more clear is never a bad thing! Thanks for your help--Dominic and Andrew!!!

c3 Trivia:

CAN was introduced to c3 by James (STER AG).
Where did James Meet Richard?

Answer:
Long Beach Poker Rally 2004

Richard says:
I was sponsor for the LB Poker Rally as I donated one of my VacuCam camera systems and some other Octane products. Becky of LB MINI asked me to say a few words about these cameras, and I snuck in a plug for c3. James contacted me shortly after that he was really interested in joining c3, and now he is an integral part of our Core Team who spends a great deal of time and energy with us in making events like the AMVIV kick off dinner a reality.

Thanks Randy! The list is automatically generated when you RSVP. I noticed you put one person but you paid for two. Shall I change that to two, or do you want me to add Peter's name too? It doesn't really matter, it's more for letting other people know who's coming to the dinner. The number of persons is just a counter for us.
