2013 PCV diaphragm cover

Morning all....

I chatted with ECS tuning on this, this morning. But I wanted to reach out on here to see if any of you have seen this difference in the PCV diaphragm location. It has me a bit stumped.

Anyway, as part of maintenance I pulled the PCV cover and wasn't expecting the small spring and little red valve in there and the springs blew off and disappeared. the replacement PCV cover and diaphragm came with the large spring but not the small and I can't seem to find anywhere on the net where people have this same thing.

I am about to just buy a new valve cover and replace it, but I wanted to be certain that my wife's 13 isn't an "oddball" if you will with this valve present.

The small spring I had to make it, so I know its not on the right tension at his point.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yep thats standard, our fix kit just includes that main spring and diagram. Not the little spring and rubber red piece. For that you have to get a whole new cover N18 engine are all the same.

Cool thanks man for the confirmation and help. Ordering in a moment from you guys. Going to throw in timing chain tensioner as well. What are your thoughts on the one to go with there?

Thanks

Welcome. You can do it if their is stretch and its within the stretch limit or a sticky tensioner. Most dealer will measure it and determine if the chain needs replaced or just the tensioner. If you do the tensioner most people just do the chain kit.
