P1497 ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to but it's there ! HELP !

Long story short I put on both new 02s , all new silicone boost and intake hoses , new valvecover, cleaned maps n mafs , new intercooler , new pcv hose and I smoke tested it and no leaks .
i took of stock dv and tried a forge but exactly same issue and put stock back on and still , same issue.
At idle its at 19hg and 1st and 2nd gear it makes 15.5psi max and as soon as i go into 3rd full throttle it immediately goes into limp mode and it throws a p1497..
what could possibly be the cause ??

1497 is an intake manifold leak detected. According to https://bmwfault.codes the code is stored when at cruise or constant load. If you are 100% sure there are no leaks on the manifold itself, it’s possible there might be an internal leak in the PCV system in the new valve cover.

I'm going to bypass my catch can and see if that is the possibly cause for the code.. the code was present with the stock valvecover on too also but I'm not against trying the stock valvecover again. I also ordered a new vanos solenoid because I read someone having my exact issue and that was their fix , also a bad vanos valve symptom IS limp mode/error lights immediately following heavy acceleration and thats my exact issue. I also ordered an oem pcv hose although I'm almost positive the one I rigged up is more than adequate.
would a smoke test have shown the bad pcv on the valvecover ???

HA! Figured it had to be PCV related. Glad you found that! Where did you order that valve cover from? They have been popping up all over recently. Might be worth it to purchase from a reliable source, or make it know to the community that PCV issues could result after install. Good thing too that the PCV cover is easily removed for cleaning.

Did you get any overview pictures of the cover with the PCV chamber opened up?
