I haven’t been driving my 2013 S Clubman since replacing the alternator, downstream oxygen sensor and the air duct intake boot hose. Mainly because I’ve had to drive my daughter’s beetle, since she came down with epilepsy, to keep it running. I have sadly ignored my mini because of an expired sticker and engine light. Yes, I know how finicky the pcv connector positioning is. I clear the code, car runs great, but upon restart code comes back. My mechanic and I can’t figure what we are missing. Uploaded are two pix…wondering if we missed one connection? Anyone have the N18 engine you can compare my pix too? Thanks everyone!
That's a temp sensor and it needs to be plugged in.........
I took the intake off but find absolutely nothing to plug into it. I’m not certain that it is the temp sensor. The size is the same as on the intake tube. I just find no part of the harness to plug into it.

My bet would be that its buried somewhere. Look around for a two wire on a connection.
I don't have access to my mini right now, but maybe someone can take a picture with the wires.
