heated seats too hot

My 2017 has very hot heated seats, even on level 1.
It looks like the older models had an adapter wire that could be added to cool the seats.
Is there such a thing for the gen 3 minis? I couldn't find one.

Bimmercode has some options for heat seating. Maybe a previous owner cranked it up really high?

Bimmercode allows you to set the set temp for all 3 levels, so you could easily turn them down if too hot for comfort. I find even the lowest setting too high for extended use, only ~5 minutes is enough for me, so I just turn it off once my rump is satisfied. My wife will leave her seat on 3 for extended periods...not quite sure how she does that, but to each their own.

So I called both the mini dealer and a local independent shop. Dealer said it can't be done. Independent shop said they will code whatever I want in Bimmercode for $85. This is cheaper than the app + the connector so I will go this route I think.

If you're going that route, get them to program some other stuff while they're in there. Turning off the nav warning and telling the car to start in sport mode are must haves for me.

Yes the F54 seats are hot compared to the Gen 2 and Gen 1 MINIs.

The adapter i had on my R52 (gen 1), none for the Gen 2 or Gen 3 MINI.

I'm surprised to hear this, my R55 was like lava even on 1. Buying an F54 soon so I hope it's not hotter!

You can change the temperature of the seats with BimmerCode.

Same. Also, disabling the seatbelt warning... I wear it, I just don't want to be nagged about it!

Maybe just use the stage 1 and stage 2, not click it to stage 3 in the heat? How hot to they get, like any other Make? BMWs?
