Hello from Oregon

Just picked up my first Mini Cooper ever. Kinda bought the car on a whim, it was a good deal and I’ve always liked these cars. I’ve owned somewhere around 200 plus cars and trucks since I was 15 so I enjoy getting to learn a new platform. I picked this car up bone stock besides the hideous tail lights the previous owner had put on it with only 92k miles, one owner on the title before me. The roof has pretty much no clear coat anymore but I’ve buffed it out to look ok. I have my own dyno in my garage as I’ve been tuning Honda’s for about the last 13 years now. My dyno is a older mustang emissions dynometer retro fitted with a yourdyno controller. I have calibrated it properly but I do believe it reads on the higher side compared to the last dyno jet I used to tune on in town (heart breaker dyno for sure). That being said a dyno is nothing more then a tuning tool to see what will change what throughout the torque curve.I will be starting a little thread for the car along with dyno updates for each mod that I have done so far.

Lol

Welcome!

Yeas those are the early aftermarket designs of the 2002 JDM era.

We have other options if you want to change them.

Hello from Oregon also lol

Hey there! I recently just picked up my first Mini out here in Oregon. 05 JCW with all the goodies. Searched for a long time to find the right one. I paid a good price for it but it was destiny. My car was originally sold in Oklahoma where I grew up. The car was also sold at the same dealership that my grandpa purchased his first BMW. So I kinda had to buy it! Happy to be a part of the club and look forward to meeting and possibly hitting a few roads with others.

Kosei K1-TS, they're for sale.... 😏. Definitely want to find a 17" OEM or similar style wheel. I'm nervous that I'm going to mess these up. Don't make em any longer.
