Hello. I got this flooded 2021 cooper s with electrical shifter and cant find info how to shift it to neutral. as you can see on pics I tried to remove central console, because up to 2019 models u was able to do it from there. also I removed air filter box, because some BMWs have shifter on top or on the bottom of the transmission- nothing there...
We also checked bottom of the car, found little yellow plug on the transmission , I assume its the service access hole to switch it but cant find any info for it(forgot to take pics of it).
The car is dead and cannot be shifted in regular way.
Will be helpful for cases when u have dead battery or similar cases like mine.

 

Is there a box on top of the transmission, but no lever??
Use a wrench!! Clockwise 30 degrees.
