OEM bluetooth radio?
After about 2 seconds of google use, theirs a module that club53 in europe sells for about $35.

Looks like a good solution, but it reads that 'Note: Unfortunately it cannot be shipped to the USA'.
Maybe someone in the US has a similar product. It does not look that difficult to make. Although that one states that it only works with the Boost/Navigation system.

Just get an factory aux input and hook a bluetooth module with a 3.5mm input on the end? May work better. The Genuine MINI one went NLA but we have aftermarket solutions.

I have the aux port and use one of these in all 3 Minis I own. Works great!
