How, if possible, to stream music on 2015 F55

I have this car.

I can make/receive calls via BT on my phone. So it is connected. I cannot stream music or hear my GPS directions. I have a $15 cigarette lighter gizmo that was in my 2010 and that works fine. It connects to a frequency on the radio and the output comes from there. As of late though I have been making trips out of my area. In some of these area's there are FM stations that are near or on that frequency (107.7), this caused a great deal of interference whereby I lose both the audio on the phone GPS and the music. So this problem has been greatly elevated. I have heard somewhere it is just the way it is, but I really find it hard to believe. Is there an upgrade/update I can get/apply to make this happen?

Can anybody help me with this?

Use a 3.5mm aux cable.

I had one of these in my 2016 F56. My radio was one of those 4 line radios, pretty basic. This unit put the artist and the name of the song on the screen via Bluetooth and I didn’t have to plug my phone in to use this. https://www.viseeousa.com/products/f...od-integration

BT is only for calls.
Plug your phone into the USB port in the cubby for phone music.
Check all your settings in the menu. Your phone music is technically a USB stick.

Yeah, I tried plugging the phone (Google Pixel 6 Pro) into the vehicle USB port after setting the USB on the phone to "File transfer/Android Auto" (the only one that allowed the car to see it). I could then see the Pixel 6 show up on the car settings display. But the only sound I got of it was an alert sound that I could not get to stop. No music. Tried to stream Amazon Prime music and YouTube music.

I'm going to revisit this today. Very disappointing. I have similar issues in my brides BMW, same year. But it will work. BMW makes great driving cars, but the electronics are better on a 2012 12k Kia.

Posting this again because it's the simplest solution. You'll likely need a USB C to 3.5mm adapter though. That's what I did in my R60 Countryman when I had a Pixel 2 with no headphone jack.

I regress.

Go to multimedia, pick your phone, then go down to connections, and choose BT

Spotify via BT
Sorry, car full of ash due to fire around here!!!

Does your Bluetooth music starts automatically every time you start the car with Spotify?

Mine does. Anyway to stop the auto play at start?

I have a different interface. What I get when I connect my Pixel 6 to the USB port is this:

And that alert it references is continually beeping. Restarted phone, etc. Nothing stops it.

I play BT music off my Samsung Flip Z with no problem.
