Greetings NAM members,

Thanks for accepting me into your forum ranks. I'm an American racer living now in Mexico for the last 9 years and my Mexican wife wants to go, get this...RACING! She has it in her mind somehow she can beat me on the track. So, we're planning to join a local race club in Guadalajara and will build a R50 or R56(non-turbo) Mini Cooper to the club n/a 1.6ltr. class specs.

I joined here to gather intel for our build and to pick the Mini racing brains(no pun intended) for their prep and track tricks to add to our future car build. Also, I hope I can add to any discussion where I can as I have over 15 years of racing experience that includes past racing in the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
