Hello club racers and future club racers,

I am happy to tell everyone that the Boston chapter is planning on hosting a BMW CCA Club Racing School this year! We are still working out the details but I wanted to get a feeling from people what the turnout might be. We have two possible dates and venues:

July 5th & 6th at NHIS (7/5 is still a tentative date)
Sept 27th & 28th at Watkins Glen. (more likely at this point)

Please email me privately if you are interested in this or know someone else who is. More information should be out in the next month or so with a definite date and plan – stay tuned. Feel free to forward this email to anyone who you feel might be interested in this club racing school!

The Glen !!! I haven't been there yet ... NHIS was fun

Do we have to be fully race prepped to participate ??

 

No, but at the end of the school they hold a race and you can only participate if you have a race prepped car, maainly in the safty area. I do know that in the past they have looked the otrher way depending on your ability and the general size of the crew there.
The Glen is one fast track, you should do it at least once.
