N14 Engine cover bolt hole caps?

Hi all, so I may be too ****, but such is me, but the N14 engine seems to be missing some top bolt caps, and therefore allows dirst/water to sit in there and just in general looks unfinished. Has anyone come up with something to cover these bolts holes?
I thought they were just missing on my N14 when I bought it used, but realoem seems to suggest there never was any black plastic caps to cover them off.
seems odd...

It bothered me too, I added some allen head SS bolts that I had laying around.

Or, do you mean the large holes around the cover center bolts?

Nope, they are exposed and moisture gets on them in the center or if you wash the engine bay, water collects there. Use a blower to blow it out. I never really liked the design and since its off another car (PSA) i think it looks like it was never finished

Yes I refer to the two bolts that are in the wells, between IGN coils 1/2 and 3/4
I like to wash engine bay and it drives me mad to have pools of water there.
Black gorilla tape would conceal but also would leave a sticky mess when tape melts off

I will measure OD when I get home, I have a bunch of rubber grommets and a few black plastic caps I can try , I will update here...cheers

Instead of gorilla tape , a few small round vinyl stickers could be all you need

A couple of these, properly sized, would do the trick…

23mm?! That almost an inch! I don’t think they are THAT big. Did you mean 2.3mm?

Bloodrider,
would you happen to know the brand of those electrical box plugs? I see a "number" on inside of plug but searching that shows me nothing sadly.
I need 2 as just seeing the open pit drives me nuts
I just found two fine thread hex head bolts to fit the brass nuts (molded into Valve Cover), so at least that looks more completed

From looking at the pics you show, Bloodrider, and your dimensions, I believe that is a 22mm plug. Just like these.
