Hi Everyone, Question? So on my 2021 F56 JCW I updated my Side Scuttle Lights to the 2022 which I think are a great upgrade but unfortunately the blinker gives one blink perfect then goes super fast! Help with coding? I tried searching for the fix which I believe someone has done but I can’t find it. Help? Thanks, Jose

 

Hi Jose,

The 2022 side scuttles are a nice upgrade to the previous F56 MINIs. You will need to code it to correct the hyper flashing and there is a YouTuber that did the same upgrade and coding with Bimmercode. You do need to get an OBD2 adapter like VeePeak for the coding process.

His name is Ben Rolfe and he goes through the entire process which is super easy.

Anyone happen to know the part # for the updated Cooper (i.e., non-S) scuttle indicators?

I contacted a local MINI dealership and was informed the part numbers are 63175A38E17 and 63175A38E18.
They are the 2022 Cooper (non-S) side scuttles w/LED.

Seattle MINI (parts.seattlemini.com) and ECS can order them.

ECS's website does not have an image for them and Seattle MINI's site has a generic drawn graphic of them.

Has anyone successfully coded lci2 side indicators on older F56 (2014 mcs) that does not have voltage monitoring setting in DBC-BODY? Looking for “advanced mode” line items for hold & cold monitoring and led settings.

 

I have a 2019, with the mini 60yr package. It has the special 60yr badging around the side scuttles...




Are the 2022 scuttles gonna fit? I'm wondering if they are the same size and shape as the LCI1? I would really like to do the upgrade, to go with the rest of the led lights... but I'm not sure if they will fit?

 

Anyone know what the coding settings for this are using the Carly App?

No they are a different shape, sorry :(

 

Did anyone ever help out on this? My 15 jcw doesn't have a setting for the warm or cold monitoring either.
