Hi all,
I'm trying to diagnose issues with my 2007 r56 Mini cooper S not starting after being stored for 18 months. I bought this Autophix 5900 obd scanner for BMW and Mini, but haven't been able to figure out what is wrong. It found a bunch of undervoltage codes, but I have recharged the battery and the car cranks but doesn't start. I'm not getting an engine check light and I'm not finding any fault codes. Does anyone have experience with this tool? Is it useful for what I am trying to do? It connects to my car and I am able to access the basic system scan and advanced functions, but for some reason when I try the OBDII generic functions, it fails to connect. Is something wrong with the scanner? Any ideas for helping me diagnose and get my car running again? This is in the basic function system scan, most of these say undervoltage This is the screen showing failures trying to connect using obd2 functions
