Could ECS please make some comments and indication on the ECS website why all three of these kits won't work with the 2021 F56 JCW factory cars? Or at least explain that you can use the physical exhaust but can't integrate the plug'n'play electronics portion?

MINI Changed things in 2020+ and the ecu will not take the tune, flash for the valve might also not work as the dealer has to flash it(they will enter the vin and maybe not work). I have not seen someone flash it post LCI with one of these. I guess you could fit it and then zip tie the valve open or try to hack software to at least get the valve to open and close. Like NCS expert, but i have not seen or tried this.

 

Thanks for the explanation, just was suggesting that the ECS website should be updated to explain all what you've stated above, and instead of a red "doesn't fit thumbs down", you put an orange finger caveat instead.

But I figure you guys are trying to play it safe and not sell to somebody who can't read the note and is then disappointed when they can't make it fully work with their car.

 

Yep, we have a bunch of people that are non Car people that buy from us and want to be safe. MINI people on here i know will go the extra mile to make it work.

 

Which one would be for 2016 f56 Cooper s. Does the tune give the car a little pops and bang? Also what do you think the dealer will charge me to update the ecu?

2013 Mini Countryman S All 4.

I see that you have this for sale but it states that "For vehicles with production from 7/2013". Sadly, my VIN shows I have an older production model. Is there a specific reason why this doesn't fit in cars before 07/2013 production?

May I know if you have something compatible with my car or if I can order an adaptor to fit the product above? My VIN: WMWZC5C58DWP31083.
