F57 What's in the "Storage Package" on an F57?
What's in the "Storage Package" on an F57?
I just took delivery of a 2021 F57, and had a question about the "Storage Package" I ordered. The description for the package on the MINI site says "Get additional packing versatility with a folding cargo floor that lets you stow items beneath the luggage compartment floor as well as on top."
But there doesn't seem to be anything special about the luggage compartment floor; there's just a flat piece of carpeted particleboard that's hinged so the right-hand end of it can be flipped up to expose a well where the toolkit or air compressor can go. It's not repositionable, and you can't store items below it (other than the well, which I think is there with or without the Storage Package).
There is a 12V port in the boot, along with two metal cargo tie down loops and a cargo net on the left side, but I don't know if all of the F57s have those. I've also heard that at one time, the storage package included a second driver's-side sun visor and a cargo net in the passenger footwell. My car doesn't have either one, but that might be because they're not a part of the package any longer.
So, does anyone know exactly what is supposed to be in the Storage Package on a convertible? Is the repositionable cargo floor just a hardtop thing?

I believe the Storage Package is standard fare on the F57 for a couple years, and I'm pretty sure it just includes a 12v outlet in the trunk area and that's it. In the F55 and F56 it includes an adjustable floor, adjustable rear seat backrests, a cargo net, and maybe some other things.
For the convertible, I believe you just get the power port and netting on the side boot liner. The tie down hooks are standard on all models. On realoem.com, it appears netting on the right side may also have been included at one point, as there are two different part numbers for my 2016 F57 Cooper based whether the storage package option is present. There are no parts listed for the adjustable floor or the hardware needed for it, so I don't believe this was ever part of the package for F57s.
Realoem is only showing parts up to 2019 models. Here's the parts link for my car: Reohttps://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=WG53-USA-03-2016-F57-Mini-Cooper&diagId=51_3889

Thanks for the replies! It looks like the "storage package" is part of the Iconic trim level now and not anything I paid extra for, so I'll just take whatever's in it. I thought I remembered selecting it and paying for it, but I double-checked and it was actually the luggage compartment mat that I was remembering.
