Looking for a little help. I just picked up my mini at the dealer and the MA had no idea what was suppose to be apart of the storage package. I thought it was suppose to have some type of dividers in the well? I have everything else that was listed in the description. I am not sure so I have attached a picture. If any got something different please advise and if possible attach a picture.

 

The 'Divider' is an accessory, not part of the Storage Package.

You can find the dividers in the Mini Builder/Configurator under Accessories, near the bottom of the list, called Luggage Compartment Tray, its $198.

What you have pictured is what comes with the Storage Pack.

Edit to add: I can see where there'd be confusion though, the picture the Configurator uses for the storage pack and the luggage compartment tray are identical. But the description for the Storage Pack mentions nothing about that insert.

Supposed to also be a 12V power outlet in the back boot area, and an additional small cargo netting in the passenger foot well area with the storage package.

 

There is, its upper right corner of the trunk area, doesn't really show unless you're looking for it. The attached picture has it, but you'd have to angle the camera differently to see it =)

 

Also includes sun visor over drivers door... Dividers are indeed not included.

 

Yep. The 12V is very handy back there in the boot area. I'm happy that I chose this option.

 

I had the double outlet in my boot area from my 2005 MC, and when I found out just in time they wouldn't have one at the storage option in my x56, I panicked and added it quickly. It is super necessary if you carry an onboard air compressor and want to add air for your tires.

 

I did not get the Storage Package, but I do have that 3rd sun visor over the driver's door. So, if that's supposed to be part of the package, I guess I got a freebie.

 

I don't have the storage package so I'm really thinking about getting it. This will stop my stuff from sliding left to right when I take tight turns

It will also make it easier to clean for any spills.

 

The description for the Storage Package in the MINI Configurator says it includes "a variable double luggage compartment floor in the luggage compartment".

What is this? Sounds like dividers.

 

The storage package is the floor that can be up (attached to the back seats) or down at two different height levels, with the upper height level making a flat floor with the rear seats down. It also includes a couple of other minor features.

The item with the divider is a separate plastic container made to fit in the boot well and has a couple of removable dividers for this bin.

 

You see the thing in the with the net on it in the picture attached above? That flips down and becomes a floor.... hence luggage compartment floor. As aafflyer said, its just an adjustable floor, the "dividers" are the tray I mentioned and linked to earlier.
