So my wife's purse, with our spare Mini key in it, was stolen today. Is there a way to disable or deactivate all fobs from the car's memory, then re-install our existing fob? Is this a dealer or locksmith or diy level task? Any help is appreciated, now if you'll excuse me - I need to go pull some fuses.

 

If I remember correctly, you can do that using ISTA/D...which is a mini/bmw special SW. not sure if carly could do that.

A dealer certainly can do that. The locksmith could do it BUT i would be careful not to brick your immobilizer. (happened to a friend when he was trying to get a key made)
