M7 silicone turbo inlet

Got myself a super slick looking M7 silicone turbo inlet pipe. However, I have some concerns. Due to it not being oem, it bypasses the pcv heater element. I live at 9600' in the winter where temperatures maintain a solid 12°F or lower for a good 3 months. Should I be worried about my occ freezing?

Have you had the catch can installed for any previous winters? If your catch can hasn't frozen yet, it won't with the M7 intake pipe.

OR, you can remove and bypass the catch can in the winter...

I have. Was just wondering if the heater being disconnected would have any effect. But I'll just give it a shot and if it freezes, or looks like it's going to, put the old pipe on. Thanks!

Took about 35 minutes to install. The electrical replicator work like a charm, and boy, does my intake sound good! This coupled with the high flow oil and foam panel filter sounds absolutely incredible. It feels like boost is achieved sooner, and just driving about ten miles in town I gained 1 mpg. So it's definitely getting more air. I'll do a run with the torque app later tonight and see if it's just my butt dyno lying to me lol

Matches the chili red quite well too!
