Rough running.

Good morning all.
I have a 2008 R56S with 70,000 miles finally got around to doing some serious work on the car.
The engine was removed so the timing chain could be replaced, water pump, auxiliary water pump,
friction wheel, drive wheel, accessory belt, original mini clutch, valve cover gasket, plugs, air filter,
braided coolant line, new plugs, cabin filter, mini coolant, motul oil and motul gear oil, oil filter, gas
filter, Silicone coolant hoses, Forge intake hose. Three items came after everything else. original water pipe, new thermostat
housing and harness, oil filter housing gaskets.

So now to my problem after purchasing it in 2018 after being told engine was no good.
Had the car in the garage up until now sitting.. finally did everything above once i got the car running
so we started checking everything , electrical, throttle body, DME and connections so we performed a smoke test on the vehicle
looking for vacuum leaks. We discovered that the valve cover was leaking near the PCV diaphragm at the rear, also from the original
intake hose on the turbo side. So this is when we put the forge hose on. That solved one problem and just waiting for a new valve cover.
Also discovered another problem. The car was refusing to rev out after checking a few move things, we also discovered that the excelerator
peddle was faulty. This unit is a drive by wire system. We swapped another one out that we had and that solved a lot of the problems we
was experiencing. like i said just waiting for the valve cover now----- no limp mode now. The car is just hunting because of the vacuum leak
but runs great upstairs.

The pedal wasn't communicating with the DME.
