Aftermarket Gauge Question

I was looking at adding an aftermarket gauge to my 09 mini cooper s. What does everyone prefer?

Ultragauge or Scanguage 2?

Also, what would the most important gauges to monitor for just daily driving? I kind of drive like a Grandpa haha. I just think it would be helpful to see boost, engine temps and stuff so my car doesn't overheat without me knowing lol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Scangauge seems to be the most popular, and you can get a custom mount for it from Cravenspeed. I like the looks of the Ultragauge. (note: I do not have either one)

I believe the Scangauge lets you monitor 4 parameters. I would monitor boost, water temperature, oil pressure, and intake air temperature.

I think the scanguage is the way to go. I have it set to watch water/oil/intake temps and boost.

If you like the style of OEM gauges, here is an example.

I have an Ultragauge and I absolutely love it I have gotten so used to having all my temps and boost info at hand that I would feel naked without it..

I prefer scangauges over the ultra gauge on my N18 because you can add additional gauges like oil temp and pressure. I have mine watching oil temp, oil pressure, coolant temp, and intake air temp along with a mechanical boost gauge

For the most essentials like 2: boost+oil press i would go for the P3 Gauge which looks like OEM..
For 4 parameters i would go for the Ultragauge which now is the most popular and far newer than the scagauge2 which is something "old".
I think nowadays with ultragauge you can monitor everything
I have a P3 gauge(havent mount it yet) and for extra parameters later i might add ultragauge too.
P3 for boost+oil press
Ultragauge for Oil Temp-AFR-IAT-EGT (i'm not sure if ultragauge is able to monitor all those but i think that this is possible)

This will be way to go later in the feature
