2007 R56 Xenon Bulb Replacement??

Hello. The passenger side headlight on my ‘07 Mini Cooper burned out a while ago and I’ve been reluctant to replace it because I want to make sure the colour matches the bulb on the driver’s side. I have the Xenon bulb option and don’t really know much more than that. I’ll link a picture with the information on the back of the bulb. If someone could point me in the right direction of what bulb to buy and where to get it that’d be much appreciated. I’m not in a rush because the vehicle is not currently being driven. I’ve been monitoring my local Pick ‘n Pull for a few weeks hoping they’d have an R56 that way I’d know I’d be getting the same bulb but I haven’t had any luck.

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area. Thanks for your patience.

It’s best to replace them in pairs, especially if you want the color to match.

I would grab a pair of these:

I used the morimoto ones 4500 and they worked good. Replace in pairs otherwise you will get one that has a diffrent color then the other.

Ok good to know I should replace in pairs. Does anyone know what the colour temperature is of the original bulbs or where to find that information? I want them to look as close to the originals as possible.

If you want as close to original as possible search the part no. "Philips Xenstart 9285 141 294 D1S 35w E1 04J DOT".

Some on Amazon, ebay etc... just don't go for the cheaper Chinese verson of D1S.
