PCV no suction?

So I went out to try a seafoam treatment to see if I can restore some power, and I noticed something weird. My PCV hose wasn't even connected. No suction at all coming from it. It's got a small radiator hose going to a "T" where one end is plugged and the other goes under the car. It's VERY hot here today and I didn't feel like tracing it under there but Shouldn't this car be stuttering or throwing codes without that hose connected? I'm so confused right now. Any ideas from those of you very mechanically inclined would be great. Thanks!

If you are talking about the N14, if you have a open connection on the pcv hose passenger side, yes it should stumble, however I have mine blocked off at valve cover and intake manifold, so maybe they have it blocked off somewhere in there.

bsh boost tap maybe? I would definitely look in to it, maybe the PO had a catch can or something in there.
