PCV hose, having trouble taking sea foam

I looked everywhere and I could not find a thread on this issue. So right now I am getting misfires in cylinders 1,2, and 4....dealer, diagnosed that my valves need to be blasted. Right now I do not have around 650 dollars for the job, so my mini dealer recommended doing the sea foam treatment through the vacuum lines.

Anyways, as I SLOWLY pour the sea foam into the PCV hose my engine starts to choke up a lot more and a lot more often then what I have seen on any video. I only got about 2 ounces out of the 5 because I was to scared of hydro locking the engine. It almost seems like PCV hose is struggling to suck up the small amount of sea foam I am putting in. I can actually stop pouring for a second and its almost like I can hear the sea foam stuck at the bottom of the PCV hose struggling to get through. Is this common while doing a sea foam treatment for the first time?? Could there possibly be a bunch of sludge built up in the hose?? I am going to try again this weekend with a spray gun and going to try to get the full 5 ounces in.

Depending on your year and model, you probably do need to have the valves blasted (seafoam isn't going to help much) . I'd shop around for an independent that will do the work, no doubt much less than the dealer.
