Is This Cam Dead?
I would say yes but I would prefer it if there was a large consensus here that say "No, it is fine! Save your money!"

Don’t you guys know the answer I was looking for? :-p Ordered a used cam. New ones are surprisingly expensive.

Get a Newman cam for about 375 bucks. Cheap as chips!
