Mystery switch on my mini...Please help!

Hey guys,
Just brought a 2011 R55 with racing green and black wheels.
However, there is a switch on the driver side next to my steering wheel, when I flip it on, the blue indicator light turns on. But it does nothing to the car at all. What is this for?
Thank you guys!

It's either the passenger eject button or some auxilliary lights.

Turn your headlights to high beam then hit the switch. On my R53 a similar switch controls the rally lights.

per US law they come on with HIGH BEAM only (if wired according to the install instructions)
